Elizabeth Joanna Mitchell was born in the year 1970. She is a five foot nine" tall American actor. She played Dr. Juliet Burke, a character on ABC's Lost. Gia, and The Escape Clause. Mitchell is co-starring with Eric Kripke in the television series Revolution which airs on NBC. Joseph Day Mitchell's father is a lawyer from Dallas, as are the mother of her character Josephine Marian Mitchell. Mitchell as well as her mom relocated from the city of their birth to Dallas Texas, where she married Joseph Mitchell. Mitchell attended Booker T. Washington High School of the Performing and Visual Arts, a public magnet high school. Mitchell is the elder sister among the three, with Kristina Kristie Mitchell and Katherine Day Kate Mitchell. In 1991 she graduated from Stephens College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting and also studying in the British American Drama Academy.Mitchell worked for a period of six years at Dallas Theater Center and a time in the Encore Theater. The character of Brewsters left the TV series in March of 2011 and is expected to return to it in the future.
